We keep this simple on purpose. We collect only what we need to reply to you, we don’t sell your information, and we protect what you share. This page explains the details.

1. Who we are

Acacia Lake Web Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is a web design and maintenance studio based in Brownsville, Texas, and the sister studio to Acacia Lake Consulting. This policy applies to this website, acacialakeweb.com.

2. What we collect

We collect very little. Specifically:

• Information you send us through our contact form, your name, email address, optionally your business or organization, the option you select for what you need, and whatever you write in your message.
• Basic technical information that almost every website receives automatically when you visit, such as your browser type and general region. We use this only to keep the site working and secure, not to identify you.

We do notask for sensitive personal information through this site, and we ask that you don’t send it to us through the contact form. If we ever add analytics or cookies that track you, we will update this policy first and tell you here.

3. How we use it

We use the information you give us to:

• Reply to your message and talk with you about your project;
• Prepare a quote or proposal if you ask for one;
• Keep a record of our correspondence so we can serve you well; and
• Keep the website running, secure, and free of abuse.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell or rent it to anyone.

4. When we share it

We don’t share your personal information with third parties except in these limited cases:

• Service providers who help us operate, for example, our email or website hosting providers. They may process your information only to provide their service to us, and are expected to protect it.
• Legal reasons, if we are required by law, a valid legal request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of you, us, or others.

We never sell your personal information.

5. How we protect it

Security is central to how we work. Our studio is led by an owner with a background in information security, and we apply strong, current safeguards to the information you share with us, both in how this site is built and in how we handle your messages. No method of transmission or storage is ever completely secure, but we take protecting your information seriously and design with that in mind from the start.

6. How long we keep it

We keep the information you send us only as long as we need it, to respond to you, to do work you’ve engaged us for, and for a reasonable period afterward for our records and legal obligations. When we no longer need it, we take steps to delete or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see your rights below).

7. Your choices & rights

You are in control of the information you share with us. Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you;
• Ask us to correct or update it;
• Ask us to delete it;
• Ask us to stop using it; and
• Withdraw consent you previously gave.

To make any of these requests, just email us at cesar@acacialakeweb.com. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, and we won’t treat you differently for asking.

8. Children’s privacy

This site is intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. When we do, we’ll revise the “last updated” date at the top of this page. If the changes are significant, we’ll make a clearer effort to let you know.
