About the studio

The web arm of Acacia Lake Consulting.

Acacia Lake Web Solutions is the sister studio to Acacia Lake Consulting, a veteran-owned firm in Brownsville, Texas, and a member of the Brownsville Chamber of Commerce. Same standards, same discretion, pointed at one thing: websites that earn trust and keep it.

Why we exist

Most small organizations don't need a sprawling agency. They need a capable, steady partner who builds the site right, modernizes the old one, and stays on to keep it healthy. That's the whole job, and we do it well.

Security in the foundation

Our owner holds a CISSO certification (Certified Information Systems Security Officer), so digital privacy and security compliance are where we start. We build with HIPAA and SOX requirements in mind and keep sites aligned as standards change.

The right tool for the job

We build on Next.js for fast, durable custom sites, and on Shopify, Webflow, Wix, or clean hand-coded HTML and CSS when those fit you better. The deciding factors are your goals and how hands-on you want to be.

How we treat clients

Plainly and patiently. No jargon walls, no surprise invoices, and no outsourcing your project to a cheaper shop once you've signed. The work stays local, the person you talk to is the person building your site, and we're genuinely glad to take on a dated site and bring it forward.

Who's behind this

A real person, accountable for your site.

Acacia Lake Web Solutions is led by Cesar, a CISSO-certified, veteran owner who has been building websites since 2001, through table layouts, Flash intros, the arrival of mobile, and every framework since. When you hire us, you’re not handed off to a call center, contracted out to a lower-rate shop, or passed to someone overseas. You work directly with the person in Brownsville who built it.

A run that long is mostly useful for one thing: knowing what not to do. Plenty of what looked essential along the way turned out to be disposable, and the sites that aged worst were the ones chasing it. What held up is unglamorous. Pages that load quickly, say the right thing in the first few seconds, and can be updated by the person who owns them.

The security certification is why privacy isn’t a checkbox here either. It shapes how every site gets built, from the first line of code to the day-to-day care afterward.

That’s the whole operation in the photo. The kids run design direction, which mostly means strong opinions about color. Their mom keeps everything else standing. Cesar puts it together, writes the code, and answers the phone when it rings. Small on purpose, which is exactly why the work stays personal.

How it goes

A calm, four-step way of working.

Clear scope, honest timelines, and a site you understand at every step.

01

Listen

We learn your business, your visitors, and what your current site does and doesn't do for you.

02

Design & build

We design the look and build it on the right platform for you, fast, mobile-first, accessible, and search-friendly.

03

Launch

We move you over carefully, preserve your rankings, and make sure everything works on real devices.

04

Maintain

We stay on with updates, backups, monitoring, and small changes, so your site never drifts out of date again.

What we believe

Four things we won't compromise on.

The principles behind every project we take on, big or small.

Plain language

No jargon walls. We explain what we're doing and why, in words that make sense, so you always understand your own website.

Right-sized every time

We recommend what your project actually needs. If a simple page serves you best, that's what we'll say.

Security from the first line

A CISSO-certified background means privacy and security shape the build from day one.

Here for the long run

We don't disappear at launch. We stay on to update, monitor, and care for your site so it never drifts out of date.

Let's build something that lasts.
